Gerhard Putter - Veterinary Surgeon
Gerhard Putter BVSc MRCVS MANZCVS (Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery) Diplomate of the European Veterinary Dental College Veterinary Surgeon

When I opened the doors of Mulberry Court Veterinary Surgery for the first time in converted buildings of an old are filling station in 2002, only the dream existed that it would develop into the well-established veterinary practice that it is today.

When other colleagues joined the team it gave me the freedom and to pursue my interest in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery. This general interest developed into the passion that I currently dedicate all my professional time to. In 2017 I was recognized by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as an advanced practitioner in veterinary dentistry and my further studies in this field continues. I am very involved in teaching veterinary colleagues and veterinary nurses oral care and have been a committee member of the British Veterinary Dental Association for the last five years.

Apart from most of the first opinion dentistry generated by our three branches, we also accept cases referred from all of East Anglia and further afield for advanced dentistry and oral surgery procedures of pet and exotic animals.

I am extremely proud of what we have achieved and I know we will continue to build on this foundation and continue to improve our compassionate care for all animals.

I live in Sudbury with my wife and our cat Fig and enjoy walking and cycling. I have a very keen interest in art, especially sculpture and aim to do more of my own sculpting at any possible opportunity.
